Overview
A high-acuity Cardiovascular & Interventional Services program in the Panama City region is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
This role functions within a dynamic Cath Lab environment, assisting physicians with imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, radiation safety, and procedural support. Ideal candidates bring experience in Cath Lab, vascular, or specials/interventional procedures and are eager to grow within a collaborative, advanced cardiovascular team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, operate, and maintain Cath Lab and interventional imaging equipment.
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
Monitor, record, and interpret hemodynamic data throughout procedures.
Perform advanced radiographic procedures demonstrating cardiovascular and peripheral vascular anatomy.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and readiness before, during, and after procedures.
Support patient transport to/from the lab as needed.
Maintain compliance with departmental protocols, radiation safety practices, and regulatory standards.
Contribute to efficient workflow, procedural readiness, and timely case turnover.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Specials, or Vascular procedures.
Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist license.
Associate degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
ARRT credential or RCIS certification.
BLS certification.
ACLS certification within 45–60 days of hire.
Preferred
Experience in a high-volume Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting.
Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and hemodynamic monitoring.
