Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab
Shift: 5x8-Hour 08:00-17:00 OR 07:00-16:00
Location: Burns, OR 97720
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract
Salary: $1,776-$2,072/week
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Inpatient Rehabilitation to join our team. As an OT in our Critical Access facility, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, home health, and hospice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical and functional abilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional independence
- Monitor and reassess patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including PTs, to coordinate comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding therapeutic techniques and home exercises
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain thorough records
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Oregon
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Occupational Therapy
- Knowledge and experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules
- Willingness to work independently as the sole OT on the floor
