Special Procedures Technologist – Full-Time (Days)
Location: Hermitage, TN
Salary: $28.63 – $41.21 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000
On-Call Pay: $8.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4x10s | No weekends | Rotating call (8–10 days/month)

Overview

Join a high-acuity diagnostic and interventional team in a leading acute care setting. This full-time role offers excellent pay, a generous sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. As a Special Procedures Technologist, you'll support interventional cardiovascular and radiologic procedures in a collaborative environment focused on patient safety and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures
Scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic and therapeutic cases
Administer contrast media according to age- and weight-specific guidelines
Start and maintain IV access and follow physician orders precisely
Record and interpret hemodynamic measurements and valve area readings
Maintain a sterile field and prepare trays per protocol
Accurately document cases using Meditech and PACS systems
Measure and dispose of radioactive waste according to regulatory standards

Qualifications

One of the following certifications is required:

RCIS or RCES certification from CCI (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire)
OR ARRT [RT(R)] certification from an accredited radiologic technologist program

Additional requirements:

BLS certification (required)
ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Special Procedures, Cath Lab, or EP Lab preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
