Compensation: $27-$35 per hour based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, No Weekends

We are seeking an experienced Manager for our Central Sterilization department. This role is essential in ensuring the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays meets the highest standards. Job Summary

The Manager of Central Sterilization directs, plans, organizes, and evaluates the staff and activities of the Sterile Processing department. This role ensures compliance with Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and AORN standards, as well as facility goals and policies. The Manager coordinates day-to-day operations regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Sterile Processing department.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards and regulations.
Coordinate staff activities and evaluate performance to maintain high standards of service.
Manage the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays to support surgical services.
Implement and monitor policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience.
Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in an acute care setting.
Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
Vocational school graduate preferred.
Supervisors currently working in an acute care setting will be considered.
