Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,052-$2,394/week

We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Emergency Room (ER) team in Omak, WA. As an ER nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care to individuals in need of immediate medical attention. Your ability to think critically, act swiftly, and remain calm under pressure will be essential to delivering exceptional care in our fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and triage patients upon arrival, identifying emergent conditions and ensuring prompt and appropriate medical interventions.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, monitoring and documenting patient responses.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, identifying any changes in condition and initiating necessary interventions.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a comforting and informative environment.
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and sterile working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, reporting patient status, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and comprehensively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting.
  • Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
  • Experience with travel assignments is not required; first-time travelers are welcomed.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required in accordance with facility guidelines, with medical/religious exemptions accepted.
