💼 Requirements:

Experience: 2 years in ICU (Burn ICU experience required)
License: WV or compact license needed at the time of submission
Certifications: ACLS, NIH required; ABLS preferred
Skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, experience in multi-system organ failure

🌈 What We Offer:

Pay: Competitive pay rate
Orientation: 16 hours, non-billable
Bonuses: Charge Nurse - $3.00, On Call - $5.00, Call Back - 1%
Holidays: Generous rates - New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

👩‍⚕️ Role Details:

Schedule: 12-hour days, 2 shifts of call per schedule, every other weekend
Float: SICU and MICU if experiencing low census
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care in the Burn ICU
- Monitor and interpret patient vital signs
- Administer medications and manage treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Respond effectively to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Participate in unit and facility-wide quality improvement initiatives
Unit Details: 6 Bed Burn Intensive Care Unit, 1:2 average ratio
Patient Focus: Providing burn care to patients of all ages and managing 16 and above in the unit
Facility Type: Level II trauma facility
Interview: Manager will interview applicants
Travel-Friendly: First-time travelers welcome!
