Director of Women's Services – Full-Time – Days
Location: Orlando, FL
Salary: $115,000 – $135,000 per year (based on experience)
Bonus: 15% annual incentive + 2% annual merit raises
Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
Overview
An established acute care hospital in Orlando, FL is seeking a Director of Women’s Services to lead Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. This role provides 24/7 leadership to ensure high-quality patient care, compliance with regulations, and a collaborative, team-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct women’s services operations, ensuring patient-centered care
- Oversee Labor & Delivery (6-bed LDRP, 80-100 births/month) and Postpartum (24 beds)
- Supervise two department managers and a total team of 100+ staff
- Develop and implement quality improvement programs
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff
Requirements:
✔️ 2+ years of recent acute care L&D leadership experience (Manager level or higher)
✔️ Active RN license or Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP)
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
✔️ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
✔️ BLS & ACLS certification (must obtain within 60 days of hire)
