Radiology / Cardiology - CT Tech Position in Towson, MD

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (08:00 - 20:30)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8 weeks

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Pay Rate: $75.00
Overtime: After 40 total hours in 1 week: 1
Charge Nurse Allowance: $4.25
On Call Compensation: $5.00
Call Back: 1.5%
Holiday Rate: 1.25%
Observed Holidays: New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, MLK Day

Usual Responsibilities:

Performing CT scan procedures using prescribed techniques.
Reviewing requisitions for completeness.
Adjusting equipment and selecting appropriate technical factors.
Utilizing standard positioning techniques.
Operating GE Apex, GE Maxima, and GE Optima 660 scanners.
Assisting physicians with biopsies and drainage.
Counseling patients on procedures to be performed.
24/7 CT department operations.

Requirements:

MD License in hand required.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
Certifications: BLS, ARRT, and Maryland State license.
Experience with GE Apex (256), GE Maxima (128), and GE Optima 660 (64); Carestream PACS; Epic Radiant.
COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines (No Exemptions).

Additional Information:

Local candidates are not accepted.
Candidates may be required to float within the hospital.
Returning staff must have been away for at least 6 months from the system.
