Position Overview:
The Graduate Nurse Residency – StaRN Program position is open at a renowned medical facility in Colorado. This program is designed for new graduate nurses, offering them a comprehensive training and orientation experience.

Key Features:

Shift: Full-Time, Night Shift (Rotating Weekends)
Start Dates:
- Med-Surg: Feb 27, March 6&13, May 29, June 5, August 7,14,21,28, October 30, November 13
Hourly Wage Estimate: $32.00-$48.00/hour
Shift Differentials: $5.50/Nights & $2.00/Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $8,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for Qualified Candidates

Responsibilities:

Participate in meaningful learning and networking opportunities in a cohort setting.
Complete new employee orientation and unit orientation (10 – 12 weeks).
Undergo 5-6 weeks didactic training, including clinical orientation, certification courses, simulation, Meditech EMR training, and e-learning.
Complete 5-6 weeks clinical training on the unit with a dedicated preceptor.

Open Units: Med/Surg, Med/Tele Cardiac, Ortho, Spine, Neuro, Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Critical Care, Complex Surgical Transplant, Step Down Unit, Acute Rehab, Behavioral Health, PACU, and more.

Special Notes:

Canadian students are accepted.
Visa sponsorship is available for international students who graduated from an accredited nursing program in the US (excluding nationals from India and China).
All candidates must have an active OPT, a temporary employment authorization for a year.

Qualifications:

Current nursing degree (associates or bachelors) by the start date.
Passing NCLEX results by the start date.
No current or prior experience as an acute care hospital Registered Nurse.
Flexibility for day or night shifts.
Commitment to a full-time Registered Nurse position for two years.
