Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Baltimore, MD 21201

Shift: 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00) or (07:00 - 19:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,225-$2,596/week

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses with ICU experience to join our dynamic Emergency Room (ER) team in Baltimore, MD. As an ER Nurse, you will bring your expertise in critical care to provide high-quality care to patients in emergency situations. Preference will be given to candidates with Trauma ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma center.

Responsibilities:

Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on their condition and urgency of care.
Provide direct patient care in emergency situations, following established protocols and standards.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatments.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure accurate information exchange and patient education.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care in electronic medical records.

Requirements:

Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
3 or more years of ICU experience, with preference for Trauma ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Flexibility to float within the organization if needed.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
