Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,592-$3,024/week

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our Radiology/Cardiology department. As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services using computed tomography technology. Your primary responsibility will be to perform CT scans, ensuring accurate and detailed images to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans following established protocols and physician orders.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions during the scanning process.
Operate CT equipment and make necessary adjustments to obtain high-quality images.
Monitor patients' condition throughout the procedure and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results.
Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging data and relevant patient information.
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
Stay up to date with advancements in CT technology and techniques.

Qualifications:

Valid Maryland license as a Radiologic Technologist
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
Current BLS certification
ARRT certification
Experience in a variety of work settings, including outpatient, inpatient, ER, teaching hospitals, community hospitals, and adult ICUs.
Proficiency in performing IV starts, working with PACS systems, administering contrast, and assisting with biopsies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and department priorities.
