Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Chesterfield, MO 63017

Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-Week Renewable Contract

Salary: $2,664-$3,108/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing and assisting with a variety of interventional and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsies, and drainages.
  • Participate in vascular procedures conducted in the operating room (OR), working closely with the surgical team to ensure the success of the procedure.
  • Operate the O-arm imaging system during neuro cases in the OR.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout.
  • Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care and support.
  • Assist the physician in sterile techniques and the use of specialized equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and procedure documentation.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Participate in on-call coverage on a rotating basis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Proficiency in performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular procedures in the OR and O-arm operation in neuro cases.
  • Local candidates are accepted.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory, with the requirement of a booster shot. Medical or religious exemptions will be considered.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
