Job Title: Nurse Manager Surgical Services

Overview:
The Hospital, a leading 350-bed facility, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager for Surgical Services. This full-time position does not require weekend work, offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a thriving medical community.

Responsibilities:
As the Nurse Manager for Surgical Services, you will lead the Pre-Op, PACU, Endo, and PAT departments. Your role involves ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care round the clock. Key responsibilities include:

Providing leadership and expertise in the surgical environment.
Ensuring the department's nursing practice and policies align with legal, accrediting, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinating patient care effectively with other hospital services and departments.
Collaborating with physicians, patients, and healthcare team members to monitor patient progress and treatment.
Developing and implementing programs to assess and improve the quality of nursing care.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

Registered Nurse license in accordance with state regulations.
Nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
American Heart Association BLS certification.
Minimum 3 years of surgical services experience (pre-op, PACU, ENDO, PAT).
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
Management experience in an acute care setting.
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and PC skills.

Additional Information:

May need to cover call for departments after hours.
Seeking a team-oriented, collaborative individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to leading by example.
Patient Ratio: 1:3/4.
Equipment used: Istat, Glucometer, Meditech.
CNOR Certification differential: $1.50/hr if applicable.
Salary range: $85,675 - $128,523 (based on years of experience).
Relocation assistance: Up to $10,000.
