Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health | Full-Time | Richmond, VA
Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule: Full-Time | Days & Nights Available | Rotating Weekends
Compensation: $31.55 - $45.07 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
Relocation Assistance: $1,500
Shift Differentials:
- Nights (Weekdays): +$6 per hour
- Nights (Weekends): +$7 per hour
- Days (Weekends): +$5 per hour
About the Role
Join a highly skilled Behavioral Health Nursing Team that provides cutting-edge psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. As an RN in Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications, dress wounds, and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient conditions and care plans using a computerized system
- Assist in crisis interventions and nonviolent crisis prevention techniques
- Coordinate discharge planning and transition of care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – Required within 30 days of hire
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) – Required within 60 days of hire
- RN Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- LTAC experience will be considered for candidates transitioning to Behavioral Health
