Location: Hermitage, TN
Pay Range: 34.24−34.24−45.75/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (7 AM - 7 PM), Rotating Weekends

Position Overview:
Join the Emergency Room team at a Level III Trauma Center serving up to 166 patients daily. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to step into a leadership role, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and guiding a skilled team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all unit functions during assigned shifts.
Monitor, assess, and document changes in patients' conditions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, evaluate, and modify care plans as needed.
Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient care.
Provide patient, family, and caregiver education throughout the care continuum.
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Unit Details:

Trauma Level: III
Beds in Unit: 22
Patient Volume: Up to 166 patients daily

Qualifications:

Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Licensure:
- Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact State RN license.
Certifications:
- Current BLS (required).
- ACLS and PALS (within 1 year of employment).
- CPI (within 6 months of employment).
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 2-3 years in Emergency Room nursing (required for day shift).
- Prior Charge Nurse experience (required for day shift).
- Trauma Experience: Preferred.
