Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract
Salary: $1,706-$1,991/week
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics. This position offers a 13-week renewable contract on the night shift, providing an opportunity for experienced professionals and first-time travelers to make a positive impact on patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and assessments on patients with respiratory and neurologic conditions.
- Administer therapeutic treatments and procedures to promote optimal respiratory function.
- Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory disease management and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate in on-call shifts and weekend rotations as required.
- Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients of all ages.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
- Experience in Neuro Diagnostics is preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and participate in on-call and weekend rotations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
