Shifts Available

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends – Urgent Need)

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range: $32.00/hr – $48.00/hr (based on experience)

  • Shift Differentials: +$4.25/hr Nights

  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Day) | $20,000 (Night)

  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

About the Role

We are hiring a dedicated Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse to provide expert care to critically ill patients recovering from open-heart surgery, managing ventilator support, and receiving vasoactive medications. You will be a vital member of a high-performing team at one of Florida’s top trauma centers, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide intensive monitoring and interventions for post-cardiac surgery and critically ill cardiovascular patients

  • Administer and titrate vasoactive drips, manage ventilators and cardiac monitoring equipment

  • Rapidly assess and respond to changes in patient conditions

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment and post-discharge recovery

  • Comply with all infection control and patient safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required (PCU may be considered)

  • Active RN license in Florida or multistate compact RN license

  • Certifications Required:

    • BLS (AHA) – within 30 days of start

    • ACLS (AHA) – within 90 days of start

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
