Position Overview:

Shift: 6 Day Shifts & 7 Night Shifts Available.
Duration: Full-time, 12-hour shifts.
Location: Bradenton, FL - A stone's throw from the pristine Gulf Coast beaches.

Key Benefits:

Sign-On Bonuses:
- $5,000 for RNs with 1-year experience.
- $10,000 for night shift RNs with 1-year experience.
Salary Scale:
- 1 year: $26/hr | 8 years: $31/hr | 17+ years: $37/hr (MAX).
Shift Differentials:
- Night Shift: +$4.50/hour.
- Weekends: +$2.00/hour.
Relocation Assistance: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality patient care for trauma patients transitioning from intensive care.
Monitor and assess patient conditions regularly and adjust care as necessary.
Work with an interdisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
Administer prescribed treatments and medications within the boundaries of your RN license.
Document care delivered and patient conditions, ensuring clear communication among the care team.
Promote patient and family education ensuring understanding and adherence to care plans.
Adhere to clinical protocols and best practices in care delivery.
Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.
Support and uphold the mission and values of the institution in every interaction.

About the Hospital: For over 40 years, our 383-bed tertiary hospital has catered to Manatee County's health needs. Recognized as a "100 Top Hospital" nine times, our vast services range from trauma care to joint replacements. Our Stepdown Unit specializes in care for cardiac patients transitioning from intensive care, featuring 39 monitored beds.

Qualifications:

Education: ASN (BSN preferred).
Licensing: FL RN license or compact, BLS Certification (HCA or AHA), ACLS preferred.
Experience: Min 1 year RN experience, 1-year Telemetry acute care hospital experience desired.
Physical Abilities: Standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), etc.
Skills: Customer service, critical thinking, decisive judgment.
