Salary Range: $66,435-$90,605/year based on experience.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology team in Walton Beach, FL. As an RN in Interventional Radiology, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during various interventional procedures. Responsibilities:

Assisting physicians during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and addressing their concerns.
Administering medications and monitoring patients' vital signs throughout procedures.
Providing post-procedure care and monitoring patients for potential complications.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Ensuring compliance with sterile procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
Documenting patient information, procedures performed, and medications administered accurately.
Assisting with patient education, explaining post-procedure care instructions, and answering questions.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and maintaining professional development.

Requirements:

Associate degree in nursing required.
Current RN license in the state of Florida.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to start.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
Minimum of 1-year acute care experience preferred.
Minimum of 1-year critical care experience preferred.
Radiology experience preferred.
Proficient in reading and writing English with the ability to transfer physician's orders accurately.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects with assistance.
Familiarity with sterile procedures and infection control practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with patients, families, and colleagues.
Willingness to be exposed to ionizing radiation and wear lead apron during procedures.
Must be within a 30-minute commute to the hospital for on-call requirements.
