Position Overview

Are you a seasoned nursing professional with leadership experience in the Med-Surg unit, particularly in Post-Op or Ortho? We are seeking a talented Nurse Manager Med Surg - General Post Op to share in the 24-hour accountability and effective operation of our Medical Surgical department.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Excellence: Collaborate under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, ensuring the efficient operation of the Medical Surgical department in alignment with our organization's mission and goals.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

🎓 Graduate of an Accredited Professional School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Advanced degree preferred.
🏥 3-5 years of recent acute care leadership experience within the Med-Surg unit. Strong preference for leadership experience in Post-OP or Ortho within the Med-Surg Unit.
📜 Current RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State as your Primary State of Residence.
🚑 Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
🚑 Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
🌟 National Certification in the area of expertise preferred.
🏥 Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
🌟 National Certification in the area of expertise is preferred.
