About the Role

We are hiring a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager – Acute Care Telemetry RN to join our team in Kingwood, TX. This is a full-time, day-shift leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring clinical excellence, and guiding a high-performing team in a fast-paced telemetry environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Director in driving departmental goals aligned with hospital mission and vision
Manage staff performance, coaching, and development to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care
Oversee daily clinical operations, staff scheduling, and patient throughput
Coordinate department participation in performance improvement and quality initiatives
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, patient safety practices, and accreditation requirements
Act as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting professional growth and evidence-based care
Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction metrics, implementing initiatives to exceed benchmarks

Requirements

RN license (TX or Compact – must obtain TX license within 90 days of hire)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
2+ years of recent acute care leadership experience (med-surg or telemetry preferred)
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Current BLS certification (AHA)
