CVICU RN – Full-Time
Location: Ocala, FL
Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends – Urgent Need)

Hourly Pay Range: $32.00 – $48.00 (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: +$4.25/hr for Night Shift
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Day Shift) | $20,000 (Night Shift)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

Join a high-performing Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at one of Florida’s leading trauma centers. We are seeking an experienced Critical Care RN to deliver expert care to critically ill patients recovering from open-heart surgery, managing ventilators, and on complex vasoactive drips.

You will be part of a collaborative and mission-driven team delivering exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and care for post-operative cardiac surgery and critical cardiovascular patients

  • Titrate vasoactive drips and manage ventilators and cardiac devices

  • Conduct rapid clinical assessments and respond to changes in condition

  • Educate patients and families on post-ICU recovery processes

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team using evidence-based protocols

  • Ensure thorough documentation and support care planning

  • Uphold infection control and regulatory compliance standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required (PCU may be considered)

  • Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact RN license

  • BLS (AHA) – Required within 30 days of start

  • ACLS (AHA) – Required within 90 days of start

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
