Freestanding Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Manager – Full-Time Days
Location: Greater Nashville, TN area
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift | No Weekends
Pay Range: Up to $115,000 per year (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

A respected freestanding emergency department in the Nashville area is seeking a hands-on Nurse Manager to lead clinical and operational functions of a high-acuity ER setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced emergency nurse looking to transition into or continue a leadership role in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of an 11-bed freestanding ER, including one trauma bay
Manage and support approximately 10 full-time employees
Oversee unit staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and performance evaluations
Foster team collaboration and a positive, engaged work culture
Support and implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
Address staff and patient concerns promptly and professionally
Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to ensure seamless patient care
Report directly to the VP of Emergency Services

Qualifications

Education & Licensure:

RN license in Tennessee or Compact State (required)
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Certifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – Required within 30 days of hire

Experience:

1–3 years of emergency room or acute care nursing experience (required)
Minimum 1 year in a leadership role such as Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Coordinator (required)
