Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Bel Air, MD 21014

Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,117-$2,470/month

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Room team. As an ER RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients experiencing a wide range of emergent medical conditions. This position offers a night shift schedule and a 13-week renewable contract.

Responsibilities:

Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the Emergency Room.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians.
Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions, recognizing any changes or deterioration.
Respond efficiently and effectively to emergencies and critical situations.
Document all patient interactions, interventions, and responses accurately.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth transitions.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment options.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Room setting (preferred).
Active Maryland RN license in good standing.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
PALS and/or ENPC certification (preferred).
Willingness to float between campuses that are 20+ minutes apart, including possible MS/Tele float.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
Availability to work night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule.
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements as per facility guidelines.
