Physical Therapist – Margate, FL

Compensation: $36.53 - $53.20 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Margate, FL
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Days, Rotating Weekends)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care through the assessment, development, and implementation of individualized care plans. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals to help patients achieve functional goals and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

Patient Evaluation & Treatment:
- Perform evaluations and provide treatment interventions according to established professional guidelines.
- Assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status, and contribute to the development of the overall care plan.
Therapeutic Care & Education:
- Deliver skilled therapeutic care in both inpatient and home settings, ensuring positive patient outcomes.
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the use of therapies, exercises, and therapeutic devices.
Coordination & Planning:
- Prioritize caseload and coordinate staffing assignments to ensure effective patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the patient care team to track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:

Licensing:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting.
Certifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
