Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Chesterfield, MO 63017

Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,664-$3,108/week

We are currently seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing various interventional radiology procedures, including vascular procedures in the operating room (OR) and operating the O-arm in neuro cases. Responsibilities:

Perform interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to angiograms, embolization’s, stent placements, and biopsies.
Collaborate with the medical team to ensure accurate positioning and image quality during procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures by providing the necessary instruments, catheters, and devices.
Operate and maintain specialized interventional radiology equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
Monitor patient vital signs and responses during procedures, taking appropriate actions when necessary.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including procedure documentation and post-procedure care.
Provide patient education regarding procedures, including pre- and post-procedure instructions and potential risks.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures in the radiology department.
Participate in on-call coverage on a rotating basis as required.

Requirements:

Valid and active certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology procedures.
Experience in vascular procedures in the operating room and operating the O-arm in neuro cases preferred.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
