Position Highlights:
Leadership Opportunity: Oversee daily operations of the Mother-Baby Unit, managing staffing, patient care, and continuous quality improvements, with support from 4 Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) and relief charge nurses.
Patient-Centered Care: Drive safe, high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal patient and family experiences in postpartum and newborn nursery care.
Collaborative Environment: Promote teamwork and evidence-based practice, working with multidisciplinary partners to advance maternal and neonatal health initiatives.
Operational Management: Responsible for staffing, budgeting, payroll, and effective resource management, while fostering an engaging and supportive team culture.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of recent acute care leadership in a Mother-Baby unit, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Active Texas RN license or compact license, BLS certification, and NRP certification required.
