Position: Manager of PCU
Location: Arlington
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary Range: $40.79 - $61.19 (Candidates with 20+ years of experience may be considered for the maximum rate)

Position Responsibilities:
As the Manager of PCU, your key responsibilities will include:

Utilizing the nursing process effectively.
Making informed judgments in accordance with the medical plan of care, departmental policies, and licensure practice act.
Supervising personnel, managing work allocation, training, and resolving issues. Evaluating performance and recommending personnel actions.
Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures aligned with organizational and nursing standards.
Promoting effective communication within a multi-professional team.
Understanding management and delegation principles.
Undertaking additional assignments/activities as required.
Demonstrating knowledge and judgment in areas including neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and cardiology.

Qualifications:

2-3 years of recent acute care manager experience in the specialty.
BSN required.
Current Texas RN License or compact license.
Current AHA or ARC BLS certification.
Knowledge in areas such as neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and cardiology.
