Position Overview:
The Cardiovascular Specialist - Cath Lab Tech position is open at a top-quality hospital in north Denver. The facility is equipped with advanced cardiac catheterization lab services, including a newly added suite and a remodeled suite. The Cardiac Cath Lab operates 24/7, offering state-of-the-art technology and a dedicated medical and nursing team trained extensively in all areas of cardiac diseases.

Responsibilities:

Routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment.
Provide quality patient care and assist in all aspects of invasive or non-invasive cardiac procedures.
Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety.
Handle emergency situations during high-risk procedures.
Interact with physicians during routine and emergency procedures.
Work within a team environment and assume on-call assignments for emergency cases.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular technology school or an equivalently accredited allied health program.
Certification or registration in cardiovascular technology (RCIS).
2 years of cardiac catheterization laboratory work experience.
Knowledge and competence in basic invasive cardiovascular technology.
BLS and ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Salary Range: $32.62 - $48.93
