Shift: Nights (Thursday–Sunday, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM) with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities
Salary: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000

Overview

A leading regional acute care hospital in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join its imaging team. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging per physician orders
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during procedures
Maintain image quality and documentation accuracy
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members
Participate in the department’s on-call rotation

Qualifications

3–6 months of sonography experience required (acute care not required)
Certificate or Associate Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound
ARDMS or ARRT (S) registration required
RVT, RVS, or Vascular Sonography certification required within 1 year of hire
BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Strong communication skills and a positive, motivated attitude

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on experience
