Position Details:

Shift: Full-Time – Nights, 12 Hour Shifts with Weekend Rotation.

Your Role & Responsibilities: As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse:

You'll triage, assess, and treat patients across all age groups seeking emergency care.
Offer timely, compassionate care ranging from minor injuries to severe emergencies like heart attacks or strokes.
Collaborate closely with a supportive team, with a shared passion for patient care.
Document critical nursing notes reflecting patient condition changes, transfers, discharges, etc.
Administer medications per physician directives.
Handle incoming phone calls, possibly including triage.
Understand various ER care zones and efficiently guide patient flow.
Coordinate with ambulances and manage care with primary ED attending.
Utilize the Emergency Severity Index 5-level triage algorithm.
Act as a resource for trauma and respond to critical patient needs.
Educate patients about their treatments, medications, and procedures while providing overall support.

What You Bring to the Table:

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing (minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing).
Licensure: Valid RN license in the state of practice or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
Certifications:
- Mandatory: American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider.
- Preferred (but required within 12 months of hire/transfer): AHA or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS).
Experience: Previous emergency, pre-hospital, or critical care RN experience is an advantage.
Additional: Due to regulations, you must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (subject to approved medical or religious exemptions).

Salary:
- Minimum: $29.62/hour
- Mid: $37.02/hour
- Maximum: $44.42/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000.
Relocation Assistance:
- $5,000 for over 250 miles.
- $2,500 for over 50 miles.
