Job Summary:

As the Nurse Manager for Post Surgical Neuro Oncology , you’ll oversee high-quality, patient-centered care in a 34-bed unit, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations and staffing of the Post Surgical Neuro Oncology unit, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Monitor and evaluate nursing care to uphold quality and clinical outcomes while fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
Ensure compliance with all accreditation and regulatory standards, including regular equipment maintenance.
Manage admissions, discharge processes, and patient throughput to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to meet patient care needs and improve outcomes.
Lead initiatives to achieve unparalleled patient satisfaction by instilling accountability for positive patient interactions.
Review feedback mechanisms to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to elevate the patient experience.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and leaders to foster teamwork and support improved outcomes.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or an active compact license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or RN Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum 1+ years of experience in nursing leadership/supervision in an acute care setting.
Strong and proven leadership skills are essential.
