Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range:

  • Min: $38.15/hr

  • Mid: $49.72/hr (7+ years of experience)

  • Max: $61.29/hr (18+ years of experience)

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

• Sign-On Bonus: Not available

Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and supports all operations in the Level IV NICU unit. This role includes supervisory responsibilities, direct patient care as needed, and leadership in enhancing team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to maintain efficient patient care.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure superior patient outcomes.

• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to NICU staff to maintain the highest quality of care.

• Oversee staffing and scheduling to meet patient and unit needs.

• Ensure proper inventory management and equipment utilization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience as a Level IV NICU Charge Nurse.

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • RN license in Texas or compact license.

  • BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.

Additional Information:

• Unit Details:

  • 108-bed Level IV NICU.

  • Approximately 200 team members.

• Interview Process:

  1. Initial prescreen with recruiter.

  2. Interviews with Nurse Managers, peer groups, and department leadership.

  • Local candidates: In-person interviews.

  • Out-of-area candidates: WebEx interviews.

  3. Final hiring decision made by Nurse Managers.
