Salary & Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $27.72 – $39.60 (based on experience)

• Specialty Differential: +$2.50/hour

• Shift Differentials:

  • Night Shift: +$3/hour

  • Weekend Shift: +$2/hour

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (Night Shift only, case-by-case basis)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU). This role involves providing critical, high-intensity care for post-cardiac surgery patients. The ideal candidate will be clinically strong, detail-oriented, and committed to patient safety and excellence in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver intensive care to cardiac surgery patients in a fast-paced ICU environment

• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and autonomously manage treatments

• Advocate for the safety and well-being of patients and their families

• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

• Educate patients and families about medications, recovery, and care plans

• Uphold best practices and participate in continuous quality improvement

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience

• ICU experience preferred, not required

Licensure & Certifications:

• Current Florida RN License (or compact license with Florida eligibility)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – required within 6 months

• CCRN preferred (must be obtained within 2 years of hire)

• NIH Stroke Certification – required within 30 days of hire

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Work Environment:

• Night Shift (rotating weekends)
