Pharmacist Mixed or Nights
Clinical Pharmacist – Mixed Shift or 7-on-7 Night Shift
Pay Range: $58.15 – $73.56/hour (based on experience)
Shift Options:
Mixed Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM and 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Night Shift (7-on/7-off): 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Wednesday–Tuesday)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
Shift Differentials: Evenings +$3.00/hr | Nights +$6.00/hr
Join a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care pharmacy team delivering best-in-class clinical services. This role supports both centralized pharmacy operations and direct clinical functions including consults, monitoring, and therapy management. Ideal for motivated professionals with recent acute care experience who are ready to step into a role that demands both independence and clinical precision.
Responsibilities:
Interpret and transcribe medication orders accurately and efficiently
Compound and dispense medications while maintaining strict quality standards
Monitor drug regimens for interactions, contraindications, and dosing appropriateness
Provide real-time medication consults to care teams and patients
Support clinical initiatives such as IV-to-PO conversions, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, renal dosing, and more
Document all interventions and pharmacy activity per policy
Supervise technical staff and contribute to pharmacy workflow and safety
Requirements:
B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
Active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida
At least 1 year of acute hospital pharmacy experience OR a PGY-1 residency in hospital setting
Recent acute care exposure required (within the past 12 months)
Open to recent grads with strong hospital internship experience
Preferred:
Prior experience with hospital pharmacy automation and EMR systems
Familiarity with therapeutic interchange programs and hospital formularies
Background working in high-volume, high-acuity hospital environments
