Pay: $40.00 – $41.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 36–48 per week
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (case-by-case basis)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Shift Options:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)

  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)

  • Shift Differentials: $3.00/hr for Nights, $2.00/hr for Weekends

Overview:

We are hiring experienced Float Pool (Med-Surg) Registered Nurses for a leading acute care facility in Tallahassee, FL. This 288-bed hospital offers a wide range of services, including emergency care, behavioral health, cancer treatment, and heart and vascular services. You will float across various medical-surgical units, delivering exceptional patient-centered care and clinical support.

Role Summary:

As a Med-Surg Float Pool RN, you will play a critical role in patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation across multiple units. You’ll work in a collaborative environment and have the opportunity to enhance your clinical expertise through diverse experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience (within last 1–2 years)

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or eligibility to obtain before start

  • BLS certification (required)

  • ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)

  • BSN preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Flat Rate Pay: $40/hour

  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (case-by-case basis)

Experience Requirements:

  • Nursing: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification Requirements:

  • RN (Required)

  • BLS (Required)

  • ACLS (Preferred, required within 6 months)

Commute & Relocation:

  • Must be able to reliably commute to Tallahassee, FL

  • Must be able to relocate before starting if not currently in the area
