Certifications in BLS and ARRT are essential, along with proficiency in Cerner EMR. Compensation:

Base Bill Rate: $45-50/hr.
Overtime: $10.00 after 40 hours/week
Charge Nurse: $5.00/hr
On Call: $6.00/hr
Call Back: $30.00/hr
Holiday Pay: $10.00/hr
- Observed Holidays: New Year's, Thanksgiving, Christmas (5:00 PM day before - 11:00 PM day of)

Job Description:

Daily Caseload: 20-30 cases per tech
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year, with vascular experience
On-call Requirement: 8-10 days/month, 30-min response time
Facility Details: 4 procedure rooms, wide variety of cases including stroke intervention, neurointerventions, pain management, oncology procedures, etc.
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma, Level I Peds Trauma
Total Beds: 615
Uniform: Black or Navy blue scrubs

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists to determine procedural techniques.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and positioning patients to capture clear images.
Respond to on-call emergencies within the stipulated response time.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
Vascular experience required.
Certifications: BLS, ARRT.
Skills in PACS, Contrast, Biopsies.
Proficiency in Cerner EMR.
COVID-19 vaccination (exemptions accepted if medical or religious).
