Job Title: Director of Surgical Services (Full-Time)

Location: Pasadena, TX 77504

Pay Range: 113,963−142,459/year (based on experience)
Bonus: 15% Annual Director Bonus (based on performance)
Sign-On Bonus: Case by case
Relocation Assistance: Case by case

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Surgical Services to lead our perioperative team with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and high-quality patient care. This role is responsible for the 24/7 oversight of surgical services, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and implement solutions to improve service delivery and address potential challenges.
Lead, mentor, and coach the perioperative team, fostering professional growth and development.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and accreditation requirements.
Oversee quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Manage the department’s fiscal responsibilities, including budgeting, equipment requests, and resource allocation.
Drive strategic growth initiatives, including the adoption of new technologies and the expansion of surgical programs.

Qualifications:

3+ years of recent acute care surgical services leadership experience (OR-focused).
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred (Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field).
Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact state.
CNOR or CSSM certification preferred.

About the Facility:

10 ORs with 2 robots, handling 40-60 cases/day (including Endo).
Surgical specialties include CV, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Women’s Services.
Level III Trauma Center.
Growth initiatives include adding an ortho robot and expanding the CV program.
