Shift: Full-Time, Days
Salary Range: $91,624 – $128,294 (based on RN management experience)
- Typical starting salary for new managers: Around $100,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Nursing Manager to lead our Medical Telemetry team in Kansas City, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing leader with acute care leadership experience to step into a high-impact role at a top-rated medical facility.
As the Medical Telemetry Manager, you will oversee daily operations in a high-acuity, progressive care unit, ensuring patient-centered, high-quality care. You'll collaborate with your team to implement evidence-based practices, improve patient safety and clinical outcomes, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day unit operations, ensuring adherence to patient care standards.
- Guide and support your team to achieve quality benchmarks and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Lead patient satisfaction initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure effective patient care.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff through coaching, feedback, and professional development.
Qualifications
Two or more years of recent acute care leadership experience (CNC, House Supervisor, or Charge RN).- Five or more years of total RN experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS certification (required upon hire).
- ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire).
- Active RN license (state or compact).
Unit Details
- Unit Size: 25 beds
- Support System: Work alongside charge nurses, peer managers, and the Director of Acute Care
- Team Composition: Manage a team of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and monitor techs
