Location: Kingwood, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Salary Range: $142,958 – $214,448 annually
Bonus: 15% Annual Performance Incentive

Position Overview

An established and high-performing healthcare system in Kingwood, TX is seeking a strategic and experienced Vice President of Emergency Services to lead a comprehensive emergency care network. This includes oversight of high-volume adult and pediatric emergency departments, as well as three freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs).

This executive leadership role focuses on operational excellence, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and service line expansion—all while maintaining a patient-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operations and strategic direction across the entire emergency services division

  • Oversee staffing of approximately 160 FTEs and ensure optimal team performance

  • Drive improvements in patient experience, clinical outcomes, and throughput

  • Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with medical staff, senior leadership, and support departments

  • Manage departmental budgets, labor efficiency, and key performance indicators

  • Develop long-term plans for service line growth and innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Master’s degree preferred (MSN, MHA, MBA, or related field)

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a compact state

  • 5+ years of recent leadership experience in a high-volume acute care ER (50,000+ visits/year)

  • Current BLS certification required
