Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - General

Location: Toppenish, WA 98948

Shift: 5x8-Hour (12:00 - 20:30)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,136-$2,492/week

We are currently seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist with expertise in general ultrasound to join our team in Toppenish, WA. As an Ultrasound Tech, you will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures with a focus on general ultrasound, including limited vascular studies for carotids, arterial extremities, and DVT studies.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients of various age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.
Position patients and apply ultrasound gel to the appropriate areas for imaging.
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of the required anatomical areas.
Analyze images for quality and diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate documentation and measurements.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide accurate and timely results for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures, findings, and other relevant information in the CERNER system.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients throughout the examination process.

Requirements:

Valid and unrestricted certification/license as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
ARRT-Sonography certification is preferred.
RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RDMS-BR, RDMS-Fetal, RDMS-Peds, NT-Nuchal Translucency, RVT, RDCS-Adult, RDCS-Peds, RCS, and RVS certifications are highly preferred.
Experience with CERNER documentation system.
Availability for every other weekend shifts and on-call duties.
Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have appropriate declination documentation as per facility guidelines.
