Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in transplant care, oncology, or hematology? Join a premier healthcare provider in Gainesville, FL , and play a critical role in launching a new Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Unit  opened on November 1, 2024 . This is a full-time, day shift position (Monday–Friday) , offering competitive pay, generous bonuses, and relocation assistance (case by case).

Your Role as an Immune Effector Therapy Coordinator

As an Immune Effector Therapy Coordinator , you’ll lead and coordinate care for patients undergoing transplant and cellular therapies. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Patient Care Coordination:

  • Serve as a resource for the multidisciplinary team on transplant care protocols and procedures.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and their support systems to ensure seamless care transitions.

• Telemedicine & Collaboration:

  • Coordinate and participate in telemedicine conferences with transplant physicians, referring physicians, and patients.
  • Act as a liaison between the hospital, patients, and external care teams to ensure continuity of care.

• Training & Education:

  • Participate in formal training programs covering transplant and cellular therapy protocols, pathways, and accreditation standards (e.g., FACT and CIBMTR).
  • Incorporate ANA Standards of Care and Professional Practice into daily responsibilities.

• Leadership & Process Improvement:

  • Promote best practices and lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Stay current with advancements in transplant and cellular therapy to enhance program quality.

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience:
  • 3+ years of recent (within the last year) acute care leadership experience in transplant, BMT, blood cancer, hematology, or oncology (flexible for candidates with 1–2 years of relevant leadership experience).
  • Prior experience in a Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT), Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), or Blood and Marrow Transplant program is highly preferred.
• Education:
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Florida or a multistate license.
  • Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN), Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
