💲 Salary: $115,000 - $140,000 per year (based on experience)
💰 Annual Bonus: 15% incentive

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee a Sterile Processing Department (SPD) in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. This role requires strong leadership, process improvement skills, and the ability to manage a growing department.

The Director of Sterile Processing will be responsible for department oversight, compliance, and ensuring the highest standards of surgical sterilization. You will lead 3-4 supervisors and approximately 30 FTEs, with a planned expansion to a second hospital in the near future—an exciting growth opportunity!

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Lead and manage the Sterile Processing Department (SPD), ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
✔️ Oversee sterilization processes and enforce industry best practices.
✔️ Implement continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and safety.
✔️ Develop and mentor a strong team, fostering leadership growth.
✔️ Ensure compliance with all accreditation and regulatory standards.
✔️ Manage department budgets, capital equipment requests, and operational planning.

Qualifications:

✅ Bachelor’s Degree required.
✅ Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
✅ Director-level experience overseeing SPD teams in an acute hospital setting (non-hospital settings will not be considered).
✅ Proven experience managing 20-30+ FTEs.
✅ Hands-on leadership approach—this is a working director role.
✅ Must be comfortable with a 2-4 week interview process, including relocation considerations.
