RN Nursing Manager – Medical Telemetry
Location: Kansas City, MO
Salary Range: $91,624 – $128,294 (starting pay typically around $100,000 for new managers)
Shift: Full-Time Days

Position Overview
We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Nursing Manager to lead our Medical Telemetry unit in Kansas City, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced acute care RN leader to take the next step in their career at a respected medical facility focused on clinical excellence and collaborative care.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day unit operations and ensure compliance with patient care standards
Guide and support nursing staff to meet clinical and operational benchmarks
Lead initiatives focused on improving patient satisfaction and safety
Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
Provide mentoring and professional development for nursing personnel

Unit Details

Unit Size: 25 beds
Team Includes: RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and monitor techs
Leadership Support: Charge nurses, peer managers, and Director of Acute Care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience (CNC, Charge RN, or House Supervisor)
5+ years of total RN experience
Current RN license (state or compact)
Certifications:
- BLS – required upon hire
- ACLS – required within 30 days of hire
