🏥 Department Overview: The Cardiac Cath/EP Lab is committed to the study, diagnosis, and treatment of heart ailments. Established heart care traditions date back several decades. Today, the facility houses multiple state-of-the-art labs including an electrophysiology lab. Annually, they carry out over 3,000 diagnostic and interventional procedures and more than 30,000 noninvasive procedures.

📌 Position Details & Responsibilities:

Title: RN Cath Lab
Location: Bradenton, FL
Shift: 2 DAY shifts (8-hour shifts)
Schedule: Full-time, No Weekends. On call required (every 3rd weekend & 1-2 nights per week).
Duties Include:
- Providing direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization and EP Lab.
- Administering medications and monitoring patient reactions.
- Assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring it functions properly.
- Collecting and analyzing data from the equipment to aid in patient assessment.
- Educating patients about procedures and post-procedure care.

🔍 Qualifications:

Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
Current Florida State RN license or compact state license.
BLS Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association; ACLS preferred (or obtained within 6 months).
A minimum of 1 year in Cath Lab, international radiology, surgical, critical care, or cardiac experience.
Capability to work with minimal supervision in a swift environment.
Physical capability to frequently stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

💰 Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $27.91 (starting) to $41 (with 17+ years experience).
On Call Rate: $3.50/hr
Weekend Differential: $2/hr
National Certification Bonus: $2/hr
Sign-On Bonus: Determined case by case.
Relocation Assistance: $5k (for >500 miles) or $2.5k (for 100-500 miles).
