Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager of Cardiovascular Services to oversee daily clinical and operational functions within the cardiovascular departments, including the Cath Lab, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Cardiac Day Recovery, and Echo Lab. This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure quality outcomes, and drive excellence across a nationally recognized cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership across Cardiology Services, including Cath Lab, Echo, EKG, and Cardiac Rehab.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety requirements.
Lead staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization across departments to meet patient volume demands.
Collaborate with medical staff and hospital administration to align department goals and enhance quality metrics.
Maintain ongoing analysis, evaluation, and performance audits of service areas.
Develop and administer departmental policies, budgets, and performance improvement plans.
Serve as liaison between cardiovascular services and internal/external stakeholders to promote service excellence.
Qualifications – Required
Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiology or cardiovascular services, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
BLS and ACLS certification (required within 30 days of hire).
NIH Stroke Scale certification (required within 30 days).
Preferred
2–5 years of prior manager-level experience in cardiovascular, cath lab, or interventional radiology operations.
Strong background in cardiac cath lab, echo, or interventional service line management.
