Position Overview:

  • Shift: Both Days and Nights.
  • Location: Bradenton, FL - A stone's throw from the pristine Gulf Coast beaches.

Key Benefits:

  • Sign-On Bonuses:
    • $5,000 for RNs with 1-year experience.
    • $10,000 for night shift RNs with 1-year experience.
  • Salary Scale:
    • 1 year: $26/hr | 8+ years: $32/hr | 17+ years: $38/hr (MAX).
  • Shift Differentials:
    • Night Shift: +$4.50/hour.
    • Weekends: +$2.00/hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care to diverse patients, including medical, post-surgical, and oncology.
  • Execute special procedures, notably chemotherapy, as the unit is also the Cancer Care Center for the hospital.
  • Collaborate with team members, maintaining the unit's commitment to the mission: “to provide exceptional care to every patient, every time.”
  • Uphold the standard for patient safety and administer prescribed medications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: ASN required (BSN preferred).
  • Licensing:
    • Current FL RN license or compact license.
    • BLS Certification (HCA or AHA).
    • ACLS preferred (or within 6 months of hire).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year RN experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
    • Strong customer service with effective listening skills.
    • Ability to execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
    • Demonstrated physical abilities like lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, bending, etc.
    • Sharp critical thinking and decisive judgment skills.
