Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Location: North Providence, RI 02904

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: $1,987-$2,318/week

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. As an ER Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with various emergency medical conditions. This is a full-time position offering a 13-week renewable contract, providing an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

Assess, triage, and provide nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries in the emergency department.
Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical status.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians or healthcare providers.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring appropriate interventions and timely communication.
Document all patient assessments, treatments, and interventions accurately and in accordance with facility policies.
Communicate with patients, families, and caregivers to provide education and support regarding their conditions and treatment plans.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
ACLS and BCLS certifications.
Willingness to be on call as required.
Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Note: COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with facility guidelines (medical exemptions only). Local candidates in the North Providence, RI area will be considered.
