Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $1,598-$1,865/week

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in Glen Burnie, MD. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing respiratory and neurodiagnostic services to patients. Your expertise in critical care and respiratory care will contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:

Perform respiratory therapy assessments, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols and physician orders.
Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation as required.
Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status, including oxygenation, ventilation, and airway management.
Perform and interpret neurodiagnostic tests, such as EEG (electroencephalogram).
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families about respiratory care and disease management.
Document all procedures, treatments, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain and operate respiratory and neurodiagnostic equipment.
Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure patient safety.
Participate in on-call rotations, including every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements:

Valid certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
Strong critical care experience is required.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays.
Must have a valid COVID-19 vaccination with medical/religious exemptions only.

Note: No locals within a 50-mile radius will be considered.
