🔍 Job Summary and Qualifications:

Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
License/Certification: Current RN License in Virginia or Multistate Compact License.
Experience: Minimum 1 year in an acute care hospital setting preferred (open to candidates without acute care experience).
Unit: 36-bed medical trauma unit.

✅ Role and Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-focused nursing care in a medical trauma unit.
Manage telemetry monitoring, ECG interpretation, and emergency responses.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate records.
Engage in discharge planning and provide patient/family education.
Maintain a high level of cultural and diversity awareness in all interactions.
